Ahh thats awesome! Even though I have a relatively awesome 9-5 I still dream of the day Im out and traveling long-term and living on my on own terms. And dont forget to post your travel tales on my site!

Yeah!!! Congratulations. You've inspired me with your post about getting rid of stuff, among other things. We aren't moving to another country, but we do plan to move to the city... a smaller, cheaper place, a different lifestyle, and more money to travel. Its hard to let go of the idea that stuff and a big house and garden equal happiness. I will miss my garden. But downsizing is so exhilarating!
...And maybe one day we'll be brave enough to leave it all behind to live somewhere else.

I stumbled across your blog last thursday and forwarded this to almost my entire team at work.We were all feeling stagnated and this blog of yours made a lot of sense and made us rethink our strategies about our lives.
I am defintely following your journey eagerly...and all the best. Its going to be a combination of courage and panic.
My last day of the corporate job is July 31st. We are setting off on a similar journey with 2 school aged kids...Costa Rica, Ecuador, Argentina, Uraguay, & Chile are first on the list.
